A "pinch and pull" massage treatment to address specific patterns of disharmony in the body

The term tui na (pronounced "twee naw"), which literally means "pinch and pull," refers to a wide range of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic massageand body work which is not generally used for pleasure and relaxation.

It is a deep tissue Chinese massage and which is a fundamental part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with Acupuncture, Acupressure, Chinese Herbs, Cupping, Moxibustion, Tai Chi and Qi Gong. 

It aim is to free and balance the body's energy to enhance your health.

 

The techniques involved include the smooth rolling or gliding of the hands and arms which treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal and internal organ disorders.  This is done by opening stagnated meridian channels where the flow of Qi (energy) is encouraged.
